When your item sells

What to do for collection, InPost, Evri and home delivery orders.

We'll email you as soon as a buyer has paid. Open the order from My orders, on the Sold tab.

Collection orders

  1. Message the buyer from the order page to agree a time and place.
  2. When they collect, let them check the item.
  3. Ask for their 6-digit handover code and enter it on the order page.

That completes the order and sends your payment. Never hand over an item without the code. The code is how we know the buyer has it.

InPost locker orders

The buyer has chosen an InPost locker or shop to collect from. You book the parcel yourself, so you need the InPost app or InPost's website.

  1. On the order page, you'll see the locker the buyer chose and their name, email and mobile number.
  2. In the InPost app, send a parcel of the size you listed to a locker or shop, choose the buyer's locker, and enter their details.
  3. Pay, then drop it at any InPost locker or shop by scanning your QR code. No printer needed.
  4. Tap Mark as posted and add the InPost tracking number, within 3 days.

The buyer paid the InPost price for that size at checkout, and it's added to your payment.

Evri ParcelShop orders

The buyer has chosen an Evri ParcelShop to collect from.

  1. On the order page, you'll see the ParcelShop they chose and their name and email.
  2. On Evri's website or app, choose deliver to a ParcelShop, choose the buyer's shop, and enter their details.
  3. Pay, then print the label at home or free in an Evri ParcelShop, and drop it off at any Evri ParcelShop or locker.
  4. Tap Mark as posted and add the Evri tracking number, within 3 days.

Home delivery orders

  1. You'll see the buyer's address on the order page.
  2. Post it within 3 days, using a tracked service if you can.
  3. Tap Mark as posted and add the carrier and tracking number.

You're the sender

For InPost, Evri and home delivery, you book and pay for the parcel yourself, so your agreement for it is with the carrier. If a parcel goes missing, you claim from the carrier. Until the order completes, the buyer's money is held by us, so if a parcel never arrives the buyer is refunded and you aren't paid.

For all posted orders, if it isn't marked as posted within 5 days, the order is cancelled automatically, the buyer is refunded, and an automatic review is added to your profile.

The order completes when the buyer confirms it arrived, or automatically 7 days after you posted it, unless they report a problem.

Can't go ahead?

You can cancel before handing over or posting, but cancelling adds an automatic review to your profile. If the buyer wants to cancel, ask them to do it from their order page. Cancelling an order
